What Is Polished Concrete?
Polished concrete is a multi-step process that uses progressively finer diamond tooling to grind, hone and polish a concrete slab to a desired sheen level. The result is a durable, low-maintenance floor that reflects light, resists staining and never needs waxing or recoating. Polished concrete is one of the most cost-effective and sustainable flooring options available for both residential and commercial spaces.
Finish Options
Choose Your Sheen Level
Honed / Matte
A flat, non-reflective finish with a smooth, satin-like surface. Hides surface imperfections well and provides a clean, modern look without high sheen.
Satin
A low-sheen finish with slight reflectivity. The most popular choice for commercial and retail environments — professional appearance with practical durability.
Semi-Gloss

Step by Step
Our Polishing Process
Surface Assessment
We evaluate the concrete hardness, aggregate exposure, existing coatings and any damage to determine the correct tooling and process sequence.
Coarse Grinding
We use metal-bond diamond tooling to remove surface coatings, level the slab and expose the desired aggregate level. All grinding is done with HEPA-filtered dust containment.
Crack & Hole Repair
Cracks, holes and surface defects are filled with color-matched grout or epoxy filler before the honing phase begins.
Honing
Progressive resin-bond diamond tooling refines the surface through multiple grits, removing scratches from the previous step and building toward the target sheen level.
Densifier Application
A lithium or sodium silicate densifier is applied to chemically harden the concrete surface, increasing abrasion resistance and reducing porosity.
Final Polish & Guard
Final polishing passes achieve the target sheen level. A penetrating guard or stain protector is applied to protect the finished surface.
